Description:

A rare, evergreen member of the Brugmansia family that is not reliably hardy in its early years. In the right conditions it can become a small tree.It bears blue, bell-shaped flowers 3 - 4cm over an extended period from late spring. They look like miniature Brugmansia flowers. Despite its name it is native to Argentina.

Site and Care:

Grow in full sun or part shade in well draining soil of any type. It will benefit from a mulch in Autumn particularly in its early years. It can be pruned hard in early spring if it gets leggy. Propagation is by seed but may not come true and may result in pink flowers
